2nd Annual Greater Roanoke Home & Garden Show features new ideas, trends, Celebrity hosts, giveaways and seminars highlight three-day exhibit at Roanoke Civic Center

From Jan. 14-16, 2011, the 2nd Annual Greater Roanoke Home & Garden Show will feature two celebrity TV hosts: Tom Silva from This Old House on PBS and Harry Rinker of HGTV’s The Collector Inspector. Silva will offer the latest green ideas and expert remodeling advice while Rinker will provide free verbal appraisals for two antique or collectible items for each person attending.

The show features everything from the front door to the backyard, including the latest trends in kitchens, baths, fixtures and appliances. The venue will be packed with exhibits featuring garden displays, landscaping, water features, pools, spas, windows, doors, sunrooms and more. Visitors can save with show-only discounts and pricing.

Local builders and home remodeling experts will be on hand to help with your next project, with numerous do-it-yourself seminars available to augment your skills.

Foodies will enjoy gourmet wine and food tastings and children can have fun in the Interactive Kids’ Zone. Be sure to enter a drawing for a $10,000 outdoor living center giveaway courtesy of Boxley Block. Other show features include:

The Greater Roanoke Home & Garden Show will be held at the Roanoke Civic Center from 2-7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15; and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16. Parking is free.

Admission is $8.50 for adults and $6 for seniors. Children 16 and under are free. Save $1 off admissions with coupons available at www.ShowTechnology.com. You can pay just once and visit all weekend.
